Z-Select 2000D is made of white, matte top-coated direct thermal paper. The protective coating ensures a smooth print surface and helps in creating sharp barcodes and highly legible text. The coating also provides extra protection against factors such as moisture and environmental influences.
Because the material is direct thermal, you do not need a ribbon. The printer applies the print directly by heating the paper.
The labels are equipped with a permanent rubber-based adhesive. Zebra has developed this adhesive for good adhesion to various common surfaces and for applications where the label must remain in place even at lower temperatures.
