The Zebra Z-Select 2000T is printed using thermal transfer technology. In this process, the printhead transfers ink from a thermal transfer ribbon onto the label. Therefore, you do need a ribbon for these labels.
For the Z-Select 2000T, Zebra recommends suitable wax and wax/resin ribbons, among others. The best ribbon depends on your printer and the desired durability of the print.

A printer like the Zebra ZT411 is too narrow for this label. The current Zebra ZT421 supports media up to 178 mm wide and rolls up to Ø203 mm on a 76 mm core. In terms of physical dimensions, this 148x210 mm roll fits within that printer class.
