Due to the combination of a 25.4 mm core and 127 mm outer diameter, this version fits in many 4-inch Zebra desktop printers suitable for thermal transfer.
The Zebra Z-Select 2000T is printed using thermal transfer technology. With this process, the ink layer of a thermal transfer ribbon is transferred onto the label by heat. You therefore do need a ribbon for these labels.
For standard applications, a wax ribbon can be used, for example. When the print needs to be more resistant to smudges and scratches, a suitable wax/resin ribbon may be more appropriate.
Z-Select 2000T is a white, matte-coated paper label. The coating ensures a smoother surface than with an uncoated material like Z-Perform 1000D. This makes this series particularly interesting when sharp and neat printing is important.
