Z-Select 2000T: coated for a sharper print

The surface of the Z-Select 2000T features a matte top coating.

That coating helps ensure sharp printing of:

• Barcodes

• Other fine details

Zebra positions Z-Select as a premium paper quality for situations where print quality is more important than with a standard uncoated label. Additionally, the coating offers more protection against elements such as moisture and oils than a comparable uncoated paper label.

Thermal transfer: use with a ribbon

These labels are printed using thermal transfer. This means the printhead transfers the ink layer from a ribbon onto the label. Unlike direct thermal labels, the paper itself does not react to heat.

Therefore, you need a thermal transfer ribbon for printing.

For daily use, a Zebra 2300 wax ribbon can be used, for example. For applications where the print needs to be more resistant to smudging and scratching, a suitable wax/resin ribbon may be a better choice.

1,370 labels per desktop roll

Each roll contains: 1,370 labels. You receive 12 rolls per box. This means one full package contains: 16,440 labels.

Perforation makes tearing off easier

The Zebra Z-Select 2000T 102x51mm features a perforation in the liner between the labels. This may seem like a small detail, but it is convenient when labels are not applied right next to the printer.

You can easily tear off a printed label, including the backing paper, to, for example:

• take it to a product;
• distribute it among different workstations;
• leave it ready for a colleague;
• bring it along with an order or item.

The labels themselves remain on their backing until you are ready to use them.

Permanent acrylic adhesive

The labels are finished with a permanent acrylic adhesive.

This is intended for applications where the label must remain firmly in place after application on many common surfaces, such as:
