Premium direct thermal paper

Z-Select 2000D is made of matte white, top-coated direct thermal paper. The protective top-coating ensures a smooth print surface and helps create sharp barcodes and clearly legible text. The coating also provides extra protection against moisture, oil, and normal environmental influences.

Because the labels are direct thermal, you do not need a thermal transfer ribbon. The printer creates the print directly by heating the thermal material.

Permanent adhesive

This version is equipped with a permanent rubber-based adhesive. The adhesive is developed for reliable adhesion to various common surfaces and continues to perform well at lower temperatures.

Zebra specifies a minimum application temperature of 0 °C for Z-Select 2000D. Once properly adhered, the material can be used at temperatures from approximately -40 °C to 50 °C.

This makes this series also suitable for applications where products or packaging end up in a refrigerated environment after labeling.

Black mark and perforation

This specific version is equipped with a black mark between the labels. The printer uses this mark to recognize the position of each new label.

Additionally, there is a perforation between the labels. This allows you to easily tear off printed labels or sections of the roll.

This roll has a compact 19 mm core and an outer diameter of approximately 63 mm.

The roll is intended for mobile Zebra label printers and is mentioned for use with, among others:

Are these labels suitable for cold environments?

Yes. Zebra specifically developed the Z-Select 2000D series with a permanent adhesive that continues to perform well at lower temperatures.

The label must be applied at a temperature of at least 0 °C. After proper adhesion, the material is suitable for temperatures of approximately -40 °C to 50 °C.
