The Zebra Z-Select 2000D labels of 102x152 mm have a spacious format that is widely used for shipping and logistics identification.

 

Premium direct thermal paper

Z-Select 2000D is made of matte white, top-coated direct thermal paper. The protective top coating ensures a smooth print surface and helps in printing sharp barcodes and clearly legible text. The coating also provides extra protection against moisture, oil, and other standard environmental influences.

Because the labels are direct thermal, you do not need a ribbon. The printer creates the print directly by heating the thermal material.

 

Permanent adhesive

The labels are equipped with a permanent rubber-based adhesive. This adhesive is developed for reliable adhesion to various common surfaces and can also be used in colder environments.

Zebra specifies a minimum application temperature of 0 °C. Once the label is properly applied, the material can be used at temperatures from approximately -40 °C to 50 °C.

This makes Z-Select 2000D suitable for a wide range of applications within logistics, warehousing, retail, and manufacturing.

 

1,142 labels per roll

Each roll contains 1,142 labels. A box consists of 4 rolls. This means you receive a total of:

• 4,568 labels per box.

Due to the large industrial roll, you need to load new material less often. This is convenient when large numbers of shipping, barcode, or warehouse labels are printed daily.

 

Gap detection with perforation

These rolls consist of die-cut labels with approximately 3.175 mm of space between each label.

The printer uses this gap for gap detection and thus recognizes where each new label begins.

Thanks to the perforation, you can easily tear off a printed label or a section of the roll.

 

For midrange and industrial Zebra printers

The roll has a 76.2 mm core and an outer diameter of approximately 200 mm. Therefore, this version is intended for midrange and industrial Zebra label printers.

The dimensions fit, for example, within the media specifications of:

• Zebra ZT231
• Zebra ZT411

These printers support large rolls on a 76 mm core and an outer diameter up to approximately 203 mm.

Various older Zebra industrial printers can also work with this roll size.
