Do you need space for a large barcode and several lines of information, but find a 102 mm wide label unnecessary? The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 76x152 mm offers plenty of room in the longitudinal direction.

With over 15 centimeters of label height, you can clearly arrange information, while the width remains limited to 76.2 mm.

An alternative to 102x152 mm

A 102x152 mm label is popular when a lot of horizontal space is needed. However, that extra width is not required for every application. With this 76x152 mm version, you retain almost the same length, while the label is about 25 mm narrower. This can be useful on boxes, packaging, or products where the available adhesive space is narrower.

For a standard carrier label with a fixed 102 mm wide layout, 102x152 mm may be a better fit. For internal logistical identification, 76x152 mm offers an interesting intermediate size.

1,000 labels per industrial roll

That is a typical roll size for midrange and industrial Zebra label printers.

The large outer diameter ensures that, despite the long format, 1,000 labels fit on one roll. A standard desktop printer is not suitable for a roll of this size.

Perforation between the labels

An important feature of 3006255 is the perforation between the individual labels. This makes it easier to tear a printed label, including the backing, from the rest of the roll.

This is useful, for example, when:

• a label needs to go to another workstation first;
• multiple printed labels are being distributed;
• an employee applies the label later;
• the printer is used in tear-off mode.

The perforation makes this version just that bit more practical for manual logistical processes.

Gap detection

The labels are die-cut with space between each individual label. The printer can use this gap to recognize where a new label begins.

Direct thermal printing without ribbon

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 76x152 mm is made of white, uncoated direct thermal paper. The printhead heats the material directly to make text and barcodes visible.

• Toner

This keeps the printing process simple, especially at a workstation where many labels are processed throughout the day.

Permanent adhesive (acrylic) 

The labels are provided with a permanent adhesive (acrylic). This glue is intended for applications where the label must remain firmly in place on many common surfaces after application.

This is suitable for, for example:

• Cardboard boxes
• Outer packaging
• Product packaging
• Warehouse applications
• Internal logistical identification

For an unusual, rough, or difficult surface, we always recommend testing the adhesion in advance.
