For cleaning, you can buy original Zebra cleaning pens... but you can also get quite far with some alcohol and a cotton swab)

1. Turn off the printer using the button on the back. Leave all cables connected.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. The thermal printhead is located on the inside of the cover. You can clean this with the cleaning pen. To do so, follow this video instruction.
4. Close the printer cover.
5. Make a test print.
6. If necessary, repeat the steps above once more.
The printhead of the Zebra printer is now clean and ready for use. If you are still experiencing printing problems and the text is not printing in solid black, try this link to increase the density.
