Of course, you can simply use Word, Excel, or PDF for this, but if you want just a little more, you will need design software such as Zebra Designer or Bartender. Bartender and Zebra Designer software are examples of excellent software packages that can establish a connection with an underlying database such as Excel, .CSV, .TXT, or MySQL, after which the data is processed further. The Pro versions of both packages can connect to a simple Excel or database. Both software packages also have variants that can connect to database systems like SAP, Oracle, and other database software that works with XML files. You can easily add images and shapes to your design, and you can also convert numbers and letters into scannable barcodes.
Please note: The software is installed on a PC or workstation where the label printer is also connected and installed.
