    Size chart

Are you printing an increasing number of shipping labels, barcode labels, or product labels, and noticing that a desktop printer is reaching its limits? Then the Zebra ZT111 is a great next step.

This industrial label printer is built for higher print volumes and daily professional use. It is widely used in warehouses, logistics processes, and production environments where many labels need to be printed quickly and reliably.

The ZT111 remains relatively compact, so you won't immediately have a massive printer taking up space in your workspace.

    Configure your Zebra ZT111

The Zebra ZT111 is available in four versions. Which one suits you best depends primarily on how long your labels need to remain legible and how much detail you want to print.

First, choose between Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer. Are you mainly printing shipping labels or other labels that are only needed temporarily? Then Direct Thermal is often sufficient, and you do not need a print ribbon. Do labels need to remain legible for longer, for example for product coding, inventory management, or identification? Then choose Thermal Transfer. This method uses a print ribbon, making the print better suited for long-term use.

Next, choose between 203 dpi and 300 dpi. For most shipping, warehouse, and barcode labels, 203 dpi is more than enough. Are you printing smaller barcodes, small text, or labels that require a lot of information? Then 300 dpi provides more detail.

This way, you don't automatically choose the most expensive version, but rather the one that fits your work.

    Direct Thermal or Thermal Transfer?

Direct Thermal is particularly suitable for:

    • Shipping labels
    • Order labels
    • Logistics labels
    • Temporary warehouse labels

You print directly onto thermal material and therefore do not need a ribbon.

Thermal Transfer is suitable when labels need to remain legible for longer. Think, for example, of:

    • Product labels
    • Inventory labels
    • Barcode labels
    • Identification labels
    • Labels for production

With this version, you use a print ribbon to transfer the print onto the label.

    203 dpi or 300 dpi?

For most daily applications, 203 dpi is the logical choice. You get clear barcodes and text and benefit from a high print speed. Do you want to print smaller labels or do you have a lot of small text and fine barcodes? Then 300 dpi might be a better fit.

203 dpi → for shipping labels, warehouse labels, and standard barcodes
300 dpi → for smaller labels and more detail

Are you unsure which resolution you need? We are happy to help you decide.

    Print many labels quickly

The Zebra ZT111 is built for situations where large numbers of labels are printed throughout the day.

The 203 dpi version reaches print speeds of up to approximately 254 mm per second. This allows you to keep working quickly, even when many shipping or barcode labels are required in succession.

The printer can, for example, be used with A6 shipping label rolls of 1,000 labels per roll. That means changing rolls less often and having more time to simply keep working.

    Ideal for warehouse and logistics

The Zebra ZT111 is widely used in places where a desktop printer no longer offers enough capacity.

    Think, for example, of:

    • Shipping labels
    • Order processing
    • Inventory labels
    • Location labels
    • Pallet labels
    • Goods receipt
    • Barcode labels
    • Logistics identification

Via Ethernet, the printer can also be easily used as a network printer within a warehouse or shipping department.

    Also suitable for production

The ZT111 is also widely applicable within production.

Use it, for example, for product identification, component labels, inventory registration, and other labels that are part of the production process.

Are you opting for the Thermal Transfer version? Then you can work with print ribbons up to 450 meters. This means you need to replace the ribbon less often and can continue printing for longer periods.

    Compact for an industrial printer

An industrial label printer does not necessarily have to take up much space.

The Zebra ZT111 is approximately 43 cm deep, 24 cm wide, and 27 cm high. Additionally, the media door folds open in two parts, meaning you need less clearance space above the printer.

That makes it suitable for, for example, packing stations, workbenches, and other workplaces where space remains important.

    Expandable with Peeler and Cutter

Do you want to process labels more easily after printing? Then you can expand the Zebra ZT111 with several options.

    • With a Peeler, the label is automatically separated from the backing so you can pick it up and stick it immediately.
    • With a Cutter, the labels are automatically cut off after printing.

These expansions can be particularly useful when you process many labels daily and want to further speed up the printing process.

    Connect to your work environment

The Zebra ZT111 features various connection options as standard, including:

    • USB
    • USB Host
    • RS-232
    • Ethernet
    • Bluetooth Low Energy

In addition, expansions are available for, among other things, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

This allows you to use the printer on one fixed computer, but also as a shared printer within your corporate network.

    Zebra Print DNA

The ZT111 works with Zebra Print DNA. This provides you with various tools for configuring, managing, and securing the printer. That is especially useful if you use multiple Zebra printers within your company or want to manage settings centrally.

ZebraDesigner can also be used for creating and customizing labels.

    Easy maintenance

The Zebra ZT111 is designed to make daily use as practical as possible. With the clear status indicators, you can quickly see if the printer is ready to print. Components such as the printhead and platen roller can be removed without tools.

That makes maintenance and replacement easier and helps to limit downtime.

    Zebra ZT111 or ZT231?

Are you hesitating between the Zebra ZT111 and ZT231?

The ZT111 is a good choice if you are primarily looking for a reliable industrial label printer for daily print work, without all kinds of extra features you might not use.

The ZT231 is more extensive and includes, among other things, a larger color screen and additional features.

For companies growing out of a desktop printer and primarily needing more capacity, the ZT111 is often a logical step.

    Available in four versions

The Zebra ZT111 is available in:

    • Direct Thermal | 203 dpi
    • Thermal Transfer | 203 dpi
    • Direct Thermal | 300 dpi
    • Thermal Transfer | 300 dpi

All versions feature USB, Bluetooth, and Ethernet.

This way, you can easily choose the print technology and resolution that match your labels.

    Zebra OneCare

Do you want extra peace of mind regarding your printer? Then you can choose a Zebra OneCare service expansion.

This allows you to extend service and warranty to, for example, 3 or 5 years. That can be interesting if the printer is an important part of your daily warehouse, production, or shipping process.
