DS2278 - Wireless 2D barcode scanner

The Zebra DS2278 is a wireless barcode scanner suitable for scanning 1D and 2D barcodes (QR codes). Affordable and from a TOP brand! The scanner connects via Bluetooth with a range of up to 10 meters. 14 hours of operating time (100,000 scans on a full battery).

The Zebra DS2278 reads 1D and 2D barcodes within seconds - from both paper and plastic labels as well as from (smartphone) screens.

The scanner connects via Bluetooth 4.0 to the base station (not included), which connects to the USB port of your PC, or directly to a Bluetooth device such as your smartphone.

(If you want to connect to a tablet/phone, you do not need a base station. You can then use the Micro USB cable for charging).

Thanks to the convenient 'presentation' cradle (not included), the scanner can also be used as a hands-free scanner. Zebra's 'Wi-Fi-friendly mode' prevents interference between the scanner and the WLAN connection for both employees and customers. The integrated 2400 mAh lithium-ion battery offers a guaranteed operating time of 14 hours on a single charge.

Implementation could not be easier. The Zebra DS2278 is pre-configured to be ready for use right out of the box (Plug and play). If you connect the scanner to your (POS) system, the cables will automatically identify the connection and install the imager for you.

And if you want to customize your own settings, the free 123Scan software tool is so intuitive that even a new user can easily create a single programmable barcode that allows you to configure all your Zebra scanning devices with one scan.
