Do you work daily with order picking, inventory management, goods receipt, or logistics processes? Then you want to be able to scan quickly and process data easily.

The Datalogic Skorpio X45 is designed for professional daily use. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6E and 5G, you stay connected within the warehouse, as well as when tasks take place outside the fixed Wi-Fi network.

This makes the X45 interesting for companies where employees move between different locations or need to stay connected during transport and logistics operations.

    Configure your Skorpio X45

The Skorpio X45 is available in different versions, so you can tailor it to the way you work.

You can choose between a Handheld and Pistol Grip. The Handheld is compact and convenient when you regularly switch between scanning and entering data. Do you scan a lot in succession throughout the day? Then a Pistol Grip is often a great choice thanks to the fixed handle and trigger.

You can also customize the keyboard to match your operations. There are versions with 29, 39, or 48 physical keys. This way, you can easily choose how much space you need for numbers, functions, and manual input.

Additionally, different scan configurations are available. Standard Range is suitable for barcodes at normal working distances, while Long Range is suitable when you also want to register barcodes from a greater distance.

The available combinations vary per version. Are you unsure about what fits best? We are happy to think along with you.

    Handheld or Pistol Grip?

Which version fits best depends primarily on how you use the mobile computer.

Handheld: Compact and easy to carry. A good choice when you alternate between scanning, viewing information, and entering data.

Pistol Grip: Suitable for tasks where a lot of scanning is done quickly in succession. With the trigger, you can easily register barcodes without constantly using the touchscreen.

Choose the keyboard that fits your tasks

With physical keys, you can enter data quickly, even when touchscreen operation is less practical.

Depending on the version, you can choose from:

    • 29 keys: especially suitable for numerical input
    • 39 keys: for numbers and extra function keys
    • 48 keys: for more extensive alphanumeric input

This way, the controls better match what employees actually need during their workday.

    Standard Range or Long Range

Do you mainly scan products, boxes, and location codes within normal working distance? Then Standard Range is usually the right choice.

Do employees also need to be able to read barcodes at a greater distance, for example on higher warehouse racks? Then a version with Long Range might fit better.

This way, you align not only the device but also the scanner with your work environment.

    Connected via Wi-Fi 6E and 5G

The main difference from the Skorpio X40 is the extra 5G connectivity.

Within the warehouse, you can use Wi-Fi 6E. Does an employee need to keep working outside the Wi-Fi network? Then the Skorpio X45 can stay connected via 5G. This is useful, for example, for logistics processes, goods flows between locations, or tasks where employees regularly work outside the warehouse.

See immediately if a barcode has been scanned correctly

The integrated scanner supports Datalogic Green Spot. After a successful scan, a green confirmation appears directly on the barcode.

This is especially practical in busy warehouses and production environments where a beep is not always clearly audible. You can see immediately that the scan has been processed and continue to the next one.

    For warehouse, logistics, and production

The Datalogic Skorpio X45 can be used for, among other things:

    Skorpio X40 or Skorpio X45?

The Skorpio X40 and X45 are based on the same modern platform. The main difference lies in the connection. Do you work entirely within a warehouse or company location with good Wi-Fi coverage? Then the Skorpio X40 is usually sufficient. Do employees also need to stay connected outside the Wi-Fi network? Then choose the Skorpio X45 with 5G.

This way, you pay for the connection that actually fits your work process.

Which Skorpio X45 fits my needs?

Which version you need depends on how and where you work with it.

Do you mainly scan at a normal distance? Then Standard Range usually fits well. Do you regularly need to scan barcodes at a greater distance? Then look at Long Range. The keyboard and the choice between Handheld and Pistol Grip also make a difference in daily use.

Are you unsure between different versions? We are happy to help you choose the right combination.
