    Size chart

Do you work daily with order picking, inventory management, or goods receiving? Then you want a mobile computer that allows you to scan quickly and enter data easily.

The Datalogic Skorpio X40 is built for daily use in warehouses, distribution centers, and production environments. You choose the configuration, keypad, and scan range that best suit your tasks.

    Configure your Skorpio X40

The Datalogic Skorpio X40 is available in various versions, allowing you to tailor it to the way you work.

First, you choose between a Handheld or Pistol Grip. The Handheld is compact and convenient when you alternate between scanning and data entry. Do you scan frequently in succession? Then the Pistol Grip is often the better choice due to the fixed handle and trigger.

Next, you choose the keypad and scan range. You can choose from 29, 39, or 48 keys, depending on how much data you need to enter manually. For barcodes at normal working distance, choose Standard Range. Do you also need to scan barcodes from a greater distance, for example in higher warehouse racks? Then Long Range is a better fit.

There is also a version available with 48 keys, Standard Range, and contactless technology.

This is how you configure the Skorpio X40 based on your tasks. Unsure which combination fits best? We are happy to think along with you.

    Handheld or Pistol Grip?

Which version fits best mainly depends on how often and in what way you scan.

Handheld: A compact version that is convenient when you alternate between scanning and entering data during work.

Pistol Grip: Useful for tasks where a lot of scanning is done in succession throughout the day. With the trigger, you can register barcodes quickly and easily.

Choose the keypad that fits your work

The Skorpio X40 is available with different physical keypads:

    • 29 keys: for tasks mainly involving entering numbers
    • 39 keys: for numeric entry with additional function keys
    • 48 keys: for more extensive alphanumeric entry

This way, you don't have to choose more keys than you need, and the controls are better aligned with your daily tasks.

    Standard Range or Long Range

The right scan range also depends on your working environment.

Standard Range is suitable for daily scans at short to normal distances, such as product barcodes, boxes, and location codes.

Long Range is intended for situations where you also want to be able to scan barcodes from a greater distance. This can be useful, for example, with higher warehouse racks.

See immediately if a barcode has been scanned correctly

The integrated 2D scanner supports Datalogic Green Spot. After a successful scan, a green confirmation appears on the barcode.

This is useful in a busy warehouse or production environment where an audible signal is not always easy to hear. This way, you know immediately that the barcode has been registered and you can continue.

Which Skorpio X40 is right for me?

There are different versions of the Skorpio X40. Which one you need depends mainly on your tasks.

Do you mainly scan products and boxes within reach? Then Standard Range is usually sufficient. Do you regularly scan barcodes at a greater distance? Then choose Long Range.

Do you mainly enter quantities and locations? Then the 29-key keypad may be sufficient. For more extensive input, you can choose 39 or 48 keys.

This way, you aren't just choosing a mobile computer, but a version that truly fits your work process.
